Hello and welcome to my site Alt Control IT

This site contains IT & CAD technical articles that I am going to post regularly. I am mainly going to use it for my studies, I am currently studying for my CCNA INCD2 exam and I am using this blog as a reference. Maybe some of the articles will be helpful to you also!

I currently work for a large Architectural practice base in London and have been working in the construction industry for the last 10 years providing IT & CAD support. I also provide support on a freelance basis for various companies based in London and surrounding areas. I have a strong background in Microsoft software, obtaining my MCSE & MCSA certification on Windows 2000 Five years ago and since updating that to 2003 then to 2008 MCITP MCTS qualifications, and now I am going after the CCNA.

On the CAD side of things I worked as a draughtsperson starting out using AutoCAD R14 (a long time ago) then moving on to the later versions, and then Microstation when I started working for Architectural practices.
